Have you noticed that many phone companies don't list ISDN rates?

Well I have found a great deal and thought this week I would share what I found.

Firstly a WARNING! Customers in capital cities have been approached and offered discounted ISDN30 / E1 Services that are what's called "Direct Connect" or Local loop for just $300+ per month. The problem with these services are that they are NOT normal ISDN services and are delivered using forms of Internet including VODSL / internet. Beyond stability issues the key issue here is LOCK IN!The fact is these direct connect customers CANT CHANGE PROVIDER IN THE FUTURE! Your services are not regular Telstra network based ISDN and as such you can't change providers. Recently a colleague informed me that his provider went out of business and he lost his phone numbers and had to have new ISDN service installed at a cost of more than $2000!





So Better Telecom offers Regular ISDN services that are based on Telstra network connections and have all regular features included.
